Lion-beach, step by step
Open the file beach.jpg: File, Open, beach.jpg. This action means that beach.jpg is the background and also defines the canvas size of the image. Copy and paste the selection: buttton rigth on the selection, Edit, Copy and after Paste. Convert the copy in a new layer: a dialogue layer, on floating layer, button rigth, new layer.
